Stuart Jefka is a muralist, filmmaker, and creative all-rounder based in Münster, Germany. Born in Salzburg and raised in Germany, he moved to the United States at 14 and later earned a BA in Telecommunications & Film from Eastern Michigan University and an MA in Wildlife Documentary Production.
Art came first. Stuart has been creating and selling his work for over 20 years. His colourful, large-scale murals—often featuring hybrid animals and playful characters inspired by Oaxacan alebrijes—can be found on six continents, and his work has been shown in galleries across Europe and the US. Entirely self-taught, his style is shaped by a mix of influences, from H.R. Giger and Mike Mignola to Diego Rivera and Charles M. Schulz.

His creative approach has also been shaped by extensive world travel, long-distance cycling adventures, humanitarian work in South Africa, and animal voluntourism across Central and South America. Alongside his art, Stuart produced wildlife documentaries including Paws On and An Opossum’s Tale, and in 2024 he convinced his boss to send him to ride the Race Around Rwanda—on a folding bike.



These days, he works in the cycling industry, for fun he has a YouTube channel reviewing cycling and camping gear he actually uses on his own trips, until recently he operated  Stu Brew Coffee his own business, a mobile espresso setup for events around Münster.
                          He is available for commissioned artwork, murals, and select creative projects.
